Dar e Nijat has kept its fans hooked for weeks, and Dar e Nijat episode 24 and 25 show why. The chemistry between Zaryab and Abu Bakar is growing slowly, and every small step feels like a big victory.
In this review, we talk about the village visit, the sweetest apology of the season, a goodbye that hurts, and one very suspicious jhumka.
Dar e Nijat Episode 24 and 25 in One Paragraph
In episode 24, Zaryab visits a village with Abu Bakar and his mother, Khushbakth. The epsiode is full of small romantic moments, until Zaryab starts a fight, and Abu Bakar apologizes in the most beautiful way, holding her hand, comforting her and kissing it. Before he leaves for Karachi, he comes to say khuda hafiz, because last time he left without saying it and she was upset.
In episode 25, Khushbakth gives Zaryab a loving goodbye, and Zaryab, now slowly convinced by their kindness, thinks that she will never return because these people deserve better. In Karachi, Zaryab finds a jhumka in Abu Bakar’s room, questions the maid and gets a very calm explanation from Abu Bakar. When he asks how long she will stay in Karachi, she says she will never come back.
1. A Village Visit Where Zaryab Also Joins Them

Episode 24 takes Zaryab out of her routine. She goes to a village with Abu Bakar and Khushbakth, and for the first time, we see the three of them together away from the pressures of city life.
Notice how different Zaryab is here. She is still prickly, and she still questions everything. But she is also watching.
Khushbakth shows Zaryab around her haveli, taking her through each room and showing her the place she has been given in that house. In the middle of the grand haveli, Zaryab is shocked to see the tiny space Khushbakth was given to live in. She begins to understand how Khushbakth was treated by her in-laws and how differently they are treating Zaryab, with kindness and respect.
Then Abu Bakar’s phupo arrives, begging him and his mother for forgiveness for the cruelty she inflicted on them during his childhood and for the way she treated Khushbakth. Abu Bakar’s phupo had severely abused both of them and had even thrown him into a well when he was a child.
2. A Fight, an Apology and a Kissed Hand

One of the most memorable moments in Dar e Nijat episode 24 and 25 is Abu Bakar’s response to Zaryab’s anger.
This is the scene that had the internet screaming.
As usual, Zaryab starts a fight with Abu Bakar. She urges him to fight back and tells him she wants to know more about him so she can hurt him. But Abu Bakar simply asks, “Did someone do this to you?”
And that question breaks Zaryab.
Abu Bakar does not fight back. He apologizes, and he does it in the most beautiful way. He holds her hand, comforts her, and then kisses her hand.
Zaryab is stunned. How can someone be this humble? How can someone respond to anger with such gentleness?
Think about how rare this is, even in dramas. Many heroes apologize with big speeches. Abu Bakar does it through touch and tenderness. He does not say, “I was right” or “You misunderstood.” He simply makes her feel safe.
Fans reacted with joy. Many said that men should learn from this scene how to apologize to their wives. Others simply said they could not stop rewatching it.
3. The Most Beautiful Khuda Hafiz

One of the most loved scenes in Episode 24 is a very small one.
Before Abu Bakar leaves for Karachi, he meets Zaryab. He tells her he is leaving and explains that he thought he should say khuda hafiz this time because, the last time he left, he had gone without saying goodbye, and she had complained about it.
That one line says a lot. Abu Bakar remembers. He remembers a small moment from the past, and he remembers how she reacted. That is how real love looks. It is not always about grand gestures; sometimes, it is simply about paying attention.
Once again, Abu Bakar holds her hand, gently touches her face, and says khuda hafiz.
And Zaryab, who fights over everything, does not argue this time. She simply listens. It is a quiet scene, but you can feel something shifting in her.
4. Khushbakth’s Goodbye and Zaryab’s Secret Thought

Episode 25 begins the other way around. Now it is Zaryab who is leaving, to go back to her own home in Karachi.
Khushbakth recites a prayer and blows on her, the way our mothers and grandmothers do when someone leaves home. She gives her the sweetest goodbye. “Come back soon,” she tells her. “My heart will not settle without you.”
On the surface, Zaryab listens quietly. But in her heart, she thinks something very different. These people deserve someone better than me, she thinks. I will never come back.
This is the hurt of Zaryab in one sentence. She is being given love, and instead of accepting it, she feels she does not deserve it. After everything Zamil made her believe about herself, kindness feels like a gift she has not earned.
It is heartbreaking, because Khushbakth truly means what she says. The audience knows it. Zaryab is the only one who cannot believe it.
5. The Jhumka in Abu Bakar’s Room

Then the drama gives us a light, funny twist.
In Karachi, Zaryab ends up at Abu Bakar’s house. While she is there, she finds a jhumka in his room and asks the servant whether any girl visits the house.
Zaryab, who insists that she does not care, is suddenly very curious. A woman who truly does not care would not be asking the servants questions. This is the moment she gives herself away.
Abu Bakar clears things up calmly. He says the jhumka might belong to the cook’s daughter, explaining that someone from the cook’s family stays at the house when he is away. Then he asks Zaryab how many days she plans to stay in Karachi.
She says she will never come back.
Fans enjoyed this scene a lot, especially when Abu Bakar teases her by asking whether she is looking for the jhumka’s matching pair. And we know it is another jhumka belonging to Hamnas. Many viewers loved how Abu Bakar playfully teases Zaryab when she starts asking questions.
The good news is that the promo for the upcoming episode shows Zaryab returning, so nobody needs to worry.
6. Abu Bakar’s Earbuds and the Quiet Influence He Has on Zaryab

One of the most beautiful details in these episodes is a small gesture from Abu Bakar that says more than words could.
When Zaryab is feeling overwhelmed, Abu Bakar gives her his earbuds so she can listen to Quranic recitation and feel better. It is such a gentle way of offering comfort without demanding anything from her in return.
But what makes this moment even more meaningful is what happens later. After returning home, Zaryab uses the earbuds again and listens to the Islamic videos Abu Bakar has shared with her.
And that is where the real change begins.
Zaryab may not be ready to admit what Abu Bakar means to her, but his influence is already visible in her actions. She is revisiting something that brought her comfort, something he introduced her to, on her own.
It is not about Abu Bakar changing Zaryab overnight. It is about him offering her a different kind of connection, one that brings her closer to peace rather than leaving her emotionally exhausted.
Sometimes, the most meaningful influence a person has on us is not what they say in a moment, but what we choose to return to when they are no longer around.
8. “Abu Bakar Is Unreal” Even Zaryab Knows It

The final conversation between Zaryab and her sister is another thoughtful moment that deserves attention.
When her sister asks how everything is going, including things with Abu Bakar, Zaryab describes him as someone unreal, almost like a fictional character. And honestly, that is an interesting observation because it is not just the audience who finds Abu Bakar difficult to believe. Zaryab herself seems unable to comprehend that someone like him could actually exist.
But the conversation takes a more revealing turn when her sister tells her that Zamil has been calling and texting her on the phone she left behind at her house.
Abu Bakar has bought Zaryab a new phone, but she says she will continue using her old one. Yet, despite having access to Zamil’s calls and messages, she no longer seems interested in what he has to say.
That is a significant shift.
For so long, Zamil’s choices and his rejection have occupied so much of Zaryab’s emotional space. Now, she appears less interested in looking back and more determined to protect herself from being pulled into the same cycle again.
Then comes the line that reveals just how much she has understood about herself. Zaryab says she does not want to turn back because, if she does, she will become pathar, stone. And she does not want to become stone.
She does not want her pain to turn her into someone who can no longer feel.
This is perhaps one of Zaryab’s most important realisations so far. She knows that going back could harden her heart, and she does not want to lose the part of herself that can still feel, love and hope.
And perhaps that is what makes Abu Bakar’s presence so significant. He is not simply another man entering her life. He represents the possibility of a different emotional experience, one where she does not have to become cold to survive.
For Zaryab, moving forward may not mean that she has completely healed. It may simply mean that, for the first time, she is choosing not to return to what hurt her.
Beyond the romance, Dar e Nijat episode 24 and 25 also show Zaryab slowly reconsidering her past and the kind of future she wants.
Acting and Writing in Dar e Nijat Episode 24 and 25
Dure Fishan has a tough job. Zaryab has to fight, soften, doubt and care, sometimes in the same scene. In the jhumka scene, you can see her trying to look careless while she is clearly bothered. That balance is hard.
Shehryar Munawar’s Abu Bakar is calm, but never cold. His apology and his khuda hafiz scene work because he plays them without any show. He does not try to look romantic. He just looks sincere.
Sania Saeed’s Khushbakth also deserves praise. The goodbye scene works because she plays it like a real mother, warm, simple and a little emotional.
The writing by Umera Ahmed is full of small details. A missed khuda hafiz, a prayer blown over someone’s head, a lost jhumka. None of them is dramatic, but all of them carry feelings.
The Theme of Dar e Nijat Episode 24 and 25: Not Feeling Worthy of Love
This is the quiet theme of both episodes. Zaryab is receiving more love than she has ever been given, and she does not know how to hold it.
Many of us know someone like this. A person who was blamed for years starts to believe that they are the problem. When good people come along, they pull away first, because they are afraid of being left.
Abu Bakar and Khushbakth do not push her. They do not demand that she love them. They simply keep being kind, and they wait.
That is the real message of the drama’s name. Nijat, or salvation, does not come in one dramatic moment. It comes in a hundred small acts of care.
What Comes Next
After Dar e Nijat episode 24 and 25, we are curious about one thing. When Zaryab returns, will she finally admit what she feels? Or will she keep hiding behind her fights?
We also wonder about Zamil. He has been quiet in these episodes, but a character like him rarely stays away for long.
